Letter of Invitation

We are excited to announce the first ever Nordic-Baltic Orgonomic Conference:

“Health, Therapy and Society: the Contemporary Relevance of Wilhelm Reich's Discoveries”

June 7th and 8th, 2014, to be held in Helsinki, Finland.

In addition to this two day conference, other events will occur both before and after of interest to those wishing to deepen their understanding of Wilhelm Reich’s legacy.

Tentative Schedule:

Friday night, 6th June: 19:00

Introduction to the world of Wilhelm Reich: A carefully selected multimedia presentation on Reich and his work with films, music, readings, dance... Free and open to the public: donations accepted.

Saturday, June 7th: A day devoted to the implications of Reich’s therapeutic innovations, with speakers from the United Kingdom, Greece and the United States; there will be ample time for questions and discussion.

Sunday, June 8th: A day devoted to the social and political implications of Reich’s mass-psychology and work-democracy.

Sunday evening: a celebration with food and music.

In addition, there will be a lecture for actors and dancers on Tuesday, June 10th, a lecture on orgone accumulator on Monday, June 9th,and a workshop for practitioners, on Wednesday, June 11th. Other events may be added.

The cost of the weekend conference is 80 euros (24% VAT included); there will be an additional charge for the Sunday evening dinner.

Free entrance for assistants of disabled persons.

The conference will be held at Lauttasaaren Nuorisotalo in Helsinki (Pajalahdentie 10 A b).
